  • Torbole

    With its characteristic historical centre and its picturesque port, it is the venue of windsurfers and sailing enthusiasts from all over Europe

    Located close to the mouth of the River Sarca, Torbole stands at the foot of Monte Baldo. Torbole has been a tourist resort since the 15th century when it became a favourite holiday venue for the travellers transiting along the Atesina road joining Germany with Italy; among these, celebrities such as Montaigne e Goethe.

    The landscape of this ancient town, which was a border land between Austria and Italy up to the end of the First World War, is quite picturesque thanks to the abundance of lemon greenhouses and olive groves.
